The past few days

I haven't posted anything in a few days so here's the updates. On Tuesday night, Justin, Landen and myself went to Julie & Matt's house for dinner and to see their adorable puppies. As you can tell from the picture below, Landen really enjoyed the "shelf" he got to lay on. He he. On Wednesday, Landen got to see where daddy works. Unfortunately, he slept the whole time, so he really didn't "see" it. Wednesday night was probably the hardest night so far in the new mommy role. According to the pediatrician, we should start to notice a growth spurt now, so he might be hungrier and crankier more often. I was awake with him for 4 1/2 hours in the middle of the night Wednesday and started crying in the morning from exhaustion. Luckily, my mom took work off Tues through Friday of this week and was able to come over early and watch him so I could get an extra hour or two of sleep. My mom was very helpful this week. She helped with Landen and cleaning the house. She cleaned our oven, did dishes, laundry, cleaned the bathroom, vacuumed and swiffered. THANKS MOM!!!


On Thursday, Landen & I went out to lunch for Alisha & Sonja's birthdays at Champps in New Brighton. Happy Birthday ladies! Thursday night, I took Landen to Buca's with Andrea & Evonne. Today, Jess Liston came over after work for a visit. It was a busy week with lots of visitors and lots of fun.

This weekend, Landen will have a few more visitors. Megan is stopping by tomorrow for lunch and Tracy, Shawna and Evonne on Sunday.

Oh! One new milestone for the little guy...he lost his cord (finally) on tax day (Apr 15). He has a cute little belly button now and took his first normal bath today in his big boy bathtub.
