We spent a beautiful weekend outdoors for this "Da-da Day" (as Landen said today - so cute!). On behalf of Landen, mommy made daddy breakfast sandwiches and went for an early morning walk around the neighborhood. After Landen's morning nap, we traveled to Fish Lake in Maple Grove. We ate lunch picnic-style at the beach area, played in the sand, then walked around the lake. We were bummed we didn't come prepared with swimgear because it ended up being pretty hot outside!

There's nothing better than ice cream on a hot, sunny day!
Yesterday, it was kind of cloudy out in the morning so Landen decided to drive us to Toys R Us.
"Man, this chick really blocked me in"
"This paparazzi keeps following me. No time for autographs, sorry."
Landen kept grabbing a toy and then plopping wherever in the store...hilarious. Who knew Toys R Us would be so entertaining?
We bought Landen a toddler size basketball hoop since the kid loves throwing balls.
